I was invited by The Youth Co to join the illustration team of an initiative by Empowher NY, organization founded by Ingrid Silva, the Skindeep project. Based on real events, the animation proposes to bring to surface the discussion about how racial traumas are real, recurrent and can influence an entire family's life.

The direction team had the proposal to make the animated short film in traditional watercolor, representing this deep immersion on protagnist's memories. For that, the art team reproduced this aesthetic digitally and the animators did all the magic by ink.

Cannes Gold Lion 2021 winner in the category "Healthy&Wellness" / Film Craft: Illustration, Grand Prix winner and Gold winner in the category Craft for Design of Brasil Design Award 2021.
